Did you ever wear something that people stop you on the street and ask where you got it? For me, it's this little grey (or is it gray?) dress I got at the Gap. It's the kind of dress that's absolutely perfect for summer. You can wear it to dinner or throw it on in a frantic dash to do errands.
Today I had it on at the grocery store, sweating bullets and completely lost because they changed everything around. (I hate when they do that, don't you?!) Just when you got it down and know exactly where everything is and can do the shopping blindfolded, they switch it up. Why do they torture us like this? Ok....onto this much asked about dress ....
A woman who was completely unaware of my sweaty face or the look of panic that I couldn't find a thing on my list...stopped me in my tracks and asked where I got this little number. I told her the Gap, (which is right next door to the food market). Usually people say, "oh I'll have to check it out" and then go on their way. But this woman was the first to ask if I wouldn't mind coming in the actual store with her so she could show the saleswoman to help her find it. So I surveyed my cart, which had the only item I was able to find so far... coffee (and that's because I could "smell" that aisle) So, feeling the need to do my civil fashion duty, I said "sure!" Off we went and she found her perfect little summer dress too. It's the most comfortable, wear it anywhere kind of dress. Plus I got it on sale and if you hurry you can too, I know you will love it! (off topic but speaking of fashion, who is excited as I am for Project Runway this season?!)
ps: the picture below is me falling after my legs got twisted in my curtsy pose (my chances of meeting the Queen are slim) Anyway..."Gap Dress Down!", thankfully it's easily washable too~xo
